Job Description

Intel Software Quality and Business Analytics within the Corporate Quality Network is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer Intern to work on Intel's internal Quality Management infrastructure and product qualification. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.

Some responsibilities may include but not limited to:

  • Designs, develops, tests, and debugs software applications used by end-users or integrated with other applications by ISV partners.
  • Development may span the full application stack including both frontend and backend application development.
  • Scripting  – data extract, data summarization.
  • Data validation.
  • Learning Intel test flow and data.
  • This internship will be for 6 months.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Qualifications listed as preferred or additional will be considered a plus factor for applicants.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be actively pursuing a Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field of study.

At least 6+ months of experience in a minimum of 2 out of the 3 following fields.

  • Working knowledge of basic computer science data structures and algorithms.
  • Developing rich applications with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript and Typescript experience.
  • Developing front-end software, with experience in front-end MVC/MVM frameworks (Angular 8+ is required).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • UI Test Automation frameworks (familiarity with Jasmin, Karma or Cypress is good to have).
  • Skills around developing and integrating with RESTful APIs in C# or Django/Python.
  • Experience in trouble shooting and root cause analysis for performance issues.
  • Experience with source control tools GIT and ability to review code.
  • Experience in leveraging opensource packages.
  • Experience with semiconductor manufacturing or test yield engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to deliver results on multiple projects in a fast-paced agile environment with following SDLC practices.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
