Provides technical leadership (focus on DVP&R, SSI) to a small group of temporary assigned engineers and technicians. Better understand product trends, new technologies and engineering techniques. Responsibility for appropriate prototype system level testing and evaluating of products, equipment and systems, along with necessary corrective follow-up. Contributes to successful project completion by participating in the resolution of issues such as conflict design requirements, some technique issues. Directs preparation of appropriate documentation for assigned projects. Ensures successful completion of the assigned project phase within the budgeted time and cost constraints. Qualifications Requires a minimum of 6 years’ experience as an engineer or equivalent in system level application and could entail as much as five or six of recognized team and progressive individual experience. B.S. or M.S. in Engineering or Physical Sciences or its recognized equivalent in education and experience. Master is prefer VFD SSI and field application experience is a plus Technical knowledge: 1. Experience in low voltage component product design, especially ACB and MCCB products design experience; 2. Proven history of designing and executing new product development programs; 3. Must be an expert in the use of Pro-E, AutoCAD or other software design tools; 4. Have knowledge on FEA/FMEA simulation, some experience prefered; 5. Experience in utilizing DFSS method to solve technical issues, as well as customer application problem; 6. Good understanding of commercial markets and the environmental requirements and related qualification testing required; 7. Extensive knowledge of a wide variety of low voltage system applicaiton; Soft skills: 1.Good communication skill, fluent English both in written and oral; 2.Strong team work spirit; 3.Open attitiude to coach young engineers. #LI-JL2 We make what matters work.
