Job Description

Role: Part-time Receptionist 

Hours of work: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8.30am - 5.00pm (occasional holiday cover when required) 

About The Role:
Due to internal progression, we are excited to be recruiting a part-time Receptionist to join the Facilities team in our Sheffield office. The team are on hand to help in any way they can whether that’s meeting and greeting guests and colleagues, dealing queries, booking travel, issuing passes or general administration tasks – every day is different. The successful candidate will be confident, customer focused, happy to work under pressure and eager to work in an ever changing environment.  

Key responsibilities
* Meeting and greeting all clients, visitors and staff courteously
* Arranging temporary security passes for visitors
* Answering calls affably and efficiently, taking clear and detailed messages when necessary
* Keeping the reception area tidy at all times
* Logging, sending and distributing all incoming and outgoing mail and couriers
* Booking meeting rooms and organising refreshments
* Monitoring levels of and ordering office supplies
* Assisting with charity and in house social events
* Log Holidays, healthcare and sickness for all staff
* Manage the credit card expenses – upload receipts, submit at the end of each month
* Ad-hoc administrative tasks when required


Requirements:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a clear telephone manner
* Competent with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word and Outlook
* Friendly and approachable
* Excellent organisational skills
* Eager to learn and develop additional skills
