Eaton is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. This position is based out of our Horseheads, NY location. Must reside within a 50mile radius of the work location(s) listed on this posting. No relocation is being offered for this role. Position Overview: The Customer Service Representative will provide a single point of contact for commercial support for our NAS Sales Engineers and direct serviced customers. This position provides order management for internal and external customers of the VI product line. The candidate should demonstrate a considerable level of commercial knowledge and have the ability to manage multiple tasks. Essential Functions: Fulfill order entry, order management-related activities for all product line customers, and extensive support to Key Accounts as identified. Drive customer affinity by delivering exceptional Customer Service by supporting all inquiries related to the VI product line, including (order entry and shipments, production schedule updates, warranty claims processing, and forecasting). Identify and implement process improvements. Lead regular conference calls with field sales, plants and customers. Change notice management Facilitate proper and efficient information flow to meet or exceed customer needs and departmental and division-wide performance expectations Ability to handle high-pressure, fast-paced environment requiring diligence to detail Proven analytical and critical thinking skills Ability to constructively manage conflicts and discrepancies toward a positive resolution Prioritizing customer demand to assist with improved product flow Work with the finance team to resolve customer credit requests. Train peers and customers as appropriate Fulfill all Eaton Business System requirements. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: An Associate degree from an accredited institution required Minimum of (1) one year of customer interaction experience Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office (word, excel, email, internet) Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. Must reside within a 50mile radius of the work location(s) listed on this posting. No relocation is being offered for this role. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of CRM software and SAP, Oracle Strong written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of Vista and Mentor software, PowerBI Familiar with our assembly products and plants.
