Your Role – International, Challenging And Future-Oriented! The Digital Industries Project Manager is responsible for managing Retrofit Projects for Siemens Digital Industries Portfolio including Process Automation Solutions, Drive Systems, Instrumentation, Motion Control, SCADA, PLC and DCS Systems for industrial applications in various industries, including Infrastructure, Food & Beverage, Cranes, Glass, Steel, Cement, Water, Petrochemicals, Oil & Gas, etc. The job responsibilities will mainly cover the following basic tasks: Lead and Connect subcontractors and Vendors to assist them in working to the Project Schedule as it pertains. Coordinate financial aspects of the Owner’s contract, subcontracts, and purchase orders. Review the general contract and contract documents and confirm the budget setup and project milestones. Build a resources plans, time schedules for the Project. Build a schedule of values and project logs, plan for project safety and mobilization, including review and validation with team members. Maintain and lead all purchase and delivery schedules, change order processes, shop drawings, document control logs, Owner, Architect and Subcontractor correspondence and Meeting Management Deliver all vital manuals to the Owner, consolidates project documentation and files Handle subcontractor closeout, transfer of utilities, owner training, and punch list process Deliver all warranties, as-built and training to the owner. Preparing winning techno-commercial offers for Digital Industries tenders. Creating competitive offers including cost calculation, ensuring the coordination with the pre-sales & sales organizations as well as all support functions, to develop a cost-optimized solution in accordance with customer requirements and meeting Siemens' organizational strategy and interests. Coordinating work with operations & projects team, pre-sales team, engineering team, customer services team, procurement team, financing team and with external suppliers for the preparation of offers. Actively supporting sales with tasks within the sales process, especially with offer and risk reviews, strategic considerations of the scope of delivery and determination of appropriate contractual conditions. Providing the proper technical support for the sales organization in meetings, presentations, and negotiations with customers. Engineering, Pre-Sales, Project Management and Commissioning background preferably in Siemens Digital Industries Portfolio. Your Qualifications And Skills – Digital And Solid! Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is a must. Electrical background. Minimum 10 years relevant post qualification experience Accredited certification in Project Management Proven experience in Bidding Management Very good experience handling Health, Safety & Environmental responsibilities Strong interpersonal skills Knowledge in work scheduling, progress reporting Team Player with excellent interpersonal skill (Vendors, employees, client, sub-contractors etc...) Willingness to travel and work away when required. Time Management capabilities. Capable of creating risk assessment plans for automation solutions. Fluency in English is a must.
