Job Description
Job Summary To act as a Field Service Engineer (FSE) in Sweden. Mainly working in large data center projects and in a field. To provide a first-class service for the Eaton installed base products to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and loyalty. Responsible for installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and product repairs. The primary function of the role is to conduct service and periodic maintenance to customers. Follow up customer agreements and customer satisfaction through planning, execution, documentation and invoicing of service tasks. Ensure update of customer information, technical documentation and input to correct invoicing of customers. Support customers in technical questions (phone and/ or mail). Support own colleagues in Service department and sales with technical knowledge. Participate in required training (technical, mandatory by Eaton or by law). Responsibilities over the service request realization (timing, effectiveness) and service sales budget realization. Job Responsibilities Responsible for overseeing Data center commissioning across the country. Provide highest level of technical expertise in all Hyperscale commissioning activities. Support and train Local FSE in such activities Manage key account technical escalations providing support including site visits, to engineers and customers alike, Drive escalations to conclusion and provide feedback where necessary. Work closely with Project Managers, advising on commissioning considerations and assisting on selection of suitable engineers, carry out site visits as required. Offer support for high profile clients, providing technical advice and attending site visits as required. Maintain direct links with business units and act as focal point for all technical exchange regarding the commissioning procedures and testing Manage sub-contractor teams were required Perform Health & Safety audits of FSE and subcontractors ensuring the high standards required by EATON are maintained. Qualifications Qualifications Preferred education level: Installer electrical background, suitable education. Years and area of experience required: 3 to 5+ years, 2 + years’ experience in the field. Technical knowledge: Three phase electrical installation or maintenance experience essential. English and Swedish skills (Fluent) Good understanding of switch panels and power distribution. Soft skills: Collaborative meeting skills and ability to work in a virtual work environment Communication skills / Customer Focus / Flexibility / Be able to work together with different cultures / Able to follow instructions.
