Job Description
Job Summary This position is responsible to provide accurate financial information on Sales, Margin analysis, Material price variances, expenses, cost savings, Special Analysis, project analysis, Headcount, Cost of nonconformance and financial reporting metrics. Co-Lead with the Haina Campus Controller Profit Planning cycle as well as all forecast projection, including weekly financial & budget follow up, identify any special situation and make recommendations based on analysis results. Job Responsibilities Analyze monthly financial transactions and booking information according to EATON Financial Policy requirements. Prepare and monitor Finance / Accounting activities in the areas of: Month-end closing process – Financial review, variance analysis, balanced scorecard preparation. Month-end forecast process - report preparation, operational / financial review and variance analysis. Profit Plan process - report preparation, operational / financial review and variance analysis. Departmental budget reporting and analysis. Various financial and non-financial operational performance control measures and analysis. Fixed Asset control and maintenance of F.A. system plus CAR preparation / review support. Balance Sheet reviews for accuracy, aging and documentation support Other ongoing activity or special projects as necessary. Prepare, understand and interpret financial statements; P&L, Balance Sheet, and other financial measures from internal and external customers of the finance function at local, division and corporate levels. Lead systems implementation and upgrades; making recommendations for process improvement. Establish and maintain internal controls and evaluation of plant systems for conformance to division and corporate guidelines, including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, Design Self Assessments (DSA), Required Supplemental Data (RSD), Limit of Authority (LOA), and Letter of Representation (LOR), for international ledgers. Assess the development needs of Finance / Accounting personnel and help develop employees through training Co-Champion with Campus Controller for EHS PLUS Categories for Security and Contractor Safety. Comply with all EHS required training. #LI-MM3 Qualifications Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Administrative or similar careers. 5-7 years Years and area of experience Technical knowledge: Full Bilingual (English/Spanish) Knowledge in DR finance matters, income tax, International Financial reporting standards (IFRS). PC knowledge: Microsoft Office, AS400, Oracle and Mapics Audit techniques and general Accountant Principles.
