Eaton’s Corporate Sector is currently seeking a Finance Specialist to join our team. This position is based at our Beachwood, OH location. Flexible hybrid work schedule available. Position Overview: Reporting to the Industrial Sector Global FP&A Leader, the primary functions of this role are to support financial planning & analysis work for the Global Industrial Sector and to help drive Eaton’s Finance Transformation initiative. In this function you will: Perform financial analysis of Industrial Sector’s financial results that drive actionable insights to Eaton’s Senior Management Play a key role in driving FP&A transformation at Eaton, working across businesses and corporate teams to identify and implement best practices and opportunities for efficiency Serve as liaison between the Sector, Corporate, and the Industrial Sector business finance teams for all related requirements Partner with Industrial Sector finance leaders to drive finance functional excellence across the Sector Act as a thought leader within the Operations Finance team, helping to drive technology adoption, consistency in policies and practices across the company, while also identifying opportunities to drive efficiency Maintain high level of ethical standards and identify and analyze problem areas and recommend appropriate course of action Why work at Eaton? Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Minimum 5 years related accounting/finance experience Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future Preferred qualifications: Master’s Degree from an accredited institution. Previous experience within a manufacturing organization Position Criteria: Strong quantitative capabilities with expertise using Microsoft Excel to drive actionable insights Self-Starter with the ability to develop strategic initiatives and drive results Be a proactive communicator to all levels of management Strong interpersonal and leadership skill set that is effective at all levels of the organization Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and relationships in a global organization Leadership consulting, influencing and coaching skills We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
