Eaton’s Electrical Sector is currently seeking a Business Data Analyst to join our team. This position is based at our Raleigh, NC location. Position Overview: This position supports the EESS Strategic Programs Business Unit. Successful candidate will report to the Project support team, and dotted line to the Director of Strategic Programs. The primary function of this role is to manage the Digital Value Stream for Strategic programs. This individual will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and providing training for digital tools that support, streamline, and enhance the standard business process /value stream for the Strategic Programs Business Unit. The Value Stream specialist will also work closely with the EESS OPEX organization to ensure alignment with the division, while sharing best practices. They will need to be skilled at gathering of information from multiple sources, analyzing Strategic Program Business data such as, but not limited to sales, orders, revenue, invoicing, etc., and create tools and data models to aid in the visualization or monitoring of that data. Essential Responsibilities: Collaborate with Program / Team Leads and Strategic Programs Leadership to build tools and reports that address specific and evolving business needs Create of custom dashboards that enable effective analysis and sharing of business data Manage the organization and reporting of business data via Microsoft Power BI and other analytic tools Build and evolve business tools that assist in analyzing, managing, and forecasting Strategic Programs’ business Provide overview and training for reports, dashboards and tools created Drive continuous improvement of the visualization, operation, data quality and accuracy of reports and dashboards Maintain the current state VSM, ideal state VSM (long term), future state VSM (mid-term) which should include value stream metrics and a constant backlog of OFIs Drive improvements to the Strategic Programs’ value stream through the creation of applicable digital tools, and supporting the implementation of Division wide tools as they are rolled out such as sales force, and Project management software. Leverage O365 technologies (PowerApps, Power Automate, etc.) to eliminate waste through automation Support audits/assessments of key processes within the value stream #LI-DK1 Qualifications Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements): Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution Minimum of 2 year of experience utilizing SQL, and Microsoft Power Platform in a business setting Must be an expert in Microsoft Excel including ability to create and use macros, pivot tables, etc. Must be authorized to work in the US without Company Sponsorship No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Raleigh, NC will be considered. Active Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of SAP, Oracle R12 Financials and/or Projects, Vista, and Markview Experience using Qlikview/NPrinting and Cloudera, MS Access Relevant industry experience 3 to 5 years of experience in utilizing SQL and Microsoft Power Platform in a business setting Position Success Criteria: Strong internal and external customer focus and interpersonal skills (written and verbal communication) to interact with all levels of employees from peers to senior management. Proficient problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
