Job Description
Working in partnership with the NSW Government, the Parklife Metro consortium is working on an exciting new metro rail infrastructure project in Greater Western Sydney. Comprising, Plenary, RATP Dev, Siemens and Webuild, the private sector partners are looking to build their metro rail expertise to deliver this city-shaping project, which will be delivered under a Public Private Partnership model and will provide a major economic stimulus for Western Sydney. Siemens as a D&C Contractor member will be responsible for the successful delivery of the design and construction elements of the project, and we are currently looking to hire an experienced Project Administrator to work within Siemens Mobility team, based in our Sydney office. This is your role. What part will you play? The Project Administrator provides administrative support to the project team. Your main areas of responsibilities will include supporting timely production of monthly report; organising project meetings efficiently and ensuring the project administrative function is handled in an efficient manner. Reporting into the Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Support timely production of monthly report by supporting PM in producing the customer monthly report and supporting maintenance of project management and administrative documentation. Support the organisation and execution of project meetings and events, and arrange catering and other administrative matters relating to meetings, workshops and seminars. Undertake duties to ensure the efficiency of the project administrative function, such as arranging travel, vehicle hire and accommodation for team members, arranging necessary equipment, documentation, inductions for new project team members, and contributing to process improvement of the administrative functions Use your skills to move the world forward Demonstrated experience in project administration, related methodologies, strategies and systems or experience in related field. Understanding of project delivery requirements Have worked in a project environment, with multiple stakeholders. You have excellent multitasking and stakeholders management skills.
