Our team is seeking a well-rounded Senior Tax Manager to support and manage aspects of the company’s income tax provision and compliance processes. This candidate will be an individual contributor role, reporting to the Senior Tax Director of Tax Operations and working collaboratively with other members of the Tax Department. This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Senior Tax Manager, you will be responsible for: Working with strategic business partners and staff to promote awareness and assess potential impacts to the company. Mentoring other tax department members in the preparation of all Company’s tax provision, tax returns, and other required reports. Proactively, create, as necessary, tax processes and controls. Define workflows and assignments to obtain optimum effectiveness. This position may suit you best if you are familiar with what is below, and would like to do develop your career with Healthineers The ideal candidate will be able to multitask and deal in a calm and balanced way with a variety of projects both expected and unexpected. The person in this position will be expected to: Participate and assist with the preparation of consolidated tax provisions and financial statement disclosures, including technical review, and be a contributor to the company’s tax compliance processes Interpret tax laws and rulings to resolve questions from the business Stay current on proposed and final tax law changes. Required skills to have for the success of this role CPA, Master’s Degree or significant Big 4 tax or accounting experience preferred. Corporate Tax experience – Ten (10) years. Extensive knowledge of corporate tax provision and tax compliance processes Ability to manage processes, including the ability to interact effectively within various levels of management. Organized and flexible - ability to manage multiple projects/assignments, while meeting deadlines. Strong analytical skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite and various tax law research software Meaningful experience with Corptax Software Experience with Experience and familiarity with SAP, Power BI, and Alteryx a plus Familiarity with international tax concepts enacted as part of tax reform a plus Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance Masters’ degree in taxation a plus At Siemens Healthineers, we value those who dedicate their energy and passion to a greater cause.
