UP Global Sourcing are the UK's largest, independent full service product sourcing and design business with a turnover of over US$100million. Our customers include: Tesco, Sainsbury's, Wilkinson's, Asda (Walmart), Target, CVS, John Lewis and Marks and Spencer.

The company is currently looking to recruit experienced QC Inspectors/ Technicians to assist in our order process and product inspections. Products will vary from Electrical to Housewares (Ceramics, Cookshop) items.

Job Duties
* Complete inline and final inspections on orders to ensure they meet requirements across retail products at our suppliers factories
*To help ensure corrective action plans are implemented with our suppliers
* To work with our UK QA teams to provide information in relation to products and customer requirements
* Help check that all products meet European quality, legal and safety requirements
*Help ensure that products are shipped on time, in full and with no quality issues at source or destination
*Maintain regular communication with our chinese factories

Person Requirements
* Minimum 2 years experience in QC testing/inspection in working with household products (electrical or Housewares)
* Excellent communication skills at all levels
* Good attention to detail
* Proven technical skills within the area of above products
* Fluent in both written and spoken English and Mandarin
* Experience of manufacturing practices in China
* Willingness to travel within China when required in order to achieve inspection deadlines
