Eaton’s Commercial & Residential Distribution Solutions (CRDS) Division is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team. This position is based at our Hodges, SC facility. Relocation assistance will be provided within the United States. This is a hybrid role that would require 2-3 days a week in the office at our Hodges, SC facility. Position Overview: The Senior Accountant will support the Hodges facility in the maintenance of the accounting system that ensures financial records are complete, accurate, and in compliance with company policy. The Senior Accountant is a key contributor for SOX compliance efforts, the annual physical inventory process, and meeting all financial reporting requirements. In this function you will: Support month end closing process with team by preparing accurate and timely journal entries along with financial analysis of results Analyze operational and financial data, investigate variances, identify business drivers, and evaluate their impact on planned objectives. Document meaningful variance analysis commentary for management Support monthly forecasting, annual strategic planning, and annual profit plan Evaluate cost reduction projects and analyze impact on P&L Prepare monthly sales, cost of sales, and other reconciliations. Maintain and track plant cost out information. Responsibilities may include fixed assets inventory, capital investment, cost out initiatives, cost of non-conformance. Ensure continued plant compliance with SOX requirements. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution Two (2) years of experience within accounting and/or finance. Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
