Eaton’s Electrical Americas, Canada Division is currently seeking a Warehouse Manager to support our team. This position will be based at our Perth, Ontario, Canada Facility. Position Overview: Reporting directly to the Manager, Distribution Centre, the Warehouse Manager is responsible for all employees engaged in shipping, receiving, warehousing and returns processes within the Perth plant. The Warehouse Manager will engage, motivate, and develop the warehouse team to achieve site and corporate objectives, as well as directly support Continuous Improvement programs, and particularly Health and Safety initiatives. In this function you will: Manage and lead employees through shipping, receiving, returns and other warehouse activities, by supporting strategic planning, inventory forecasts, projects, and any other immediate daily issues. Be responsible for setting departmental priorities and completing cost-outs, and be actively involved in all ELSS/OpA/EBS/MESH and CI applications within the warehouse group. Work with Coordinators to develop and maintain workflows, processes, and improvements on the floor, and ensure coordination with other internal Perth functions (ie. Mod Shop, Quality) and external supports (ie. Supply Chain, EHS). Ensure the strategic use of workforce in order to deliver customer expectations, site metrics and maximum efficiency and productivity. Embody Eaton’s zero-incident safety culture in in the warehouse and keep safety as the top priority in all decision-making processes. Respond to after-hours emergency issues as needs arise. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in Business/Commerce or a relevant industrial technology from an accredited institution. Minimum 7 years of experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Minimum 5 years of demonstrated supervisory experience. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working with a Warehouse Management System. Previous experience training lift truck drivers. Previous experience leading/supervising a team.
