Eaton’s Vehicle Group is currently seeking a Customer Service Manager to join our team. This role can be based at any of the following Vehicle Group locations: Carol Stream, IL, Canton, MI, Galesburg, MI, Southfield, MI, Marshall, MI or Jackson, MI and offers a hybrid working scheduled. Relocation assistance is available! Position Overview: This Customer Service Manager is responsible for supporting the management of customer accounts and the overall day-to-day business relationship between RPS (Royal Power Solutions) and customers. The Customer Service Manager will report to the Sales Director. The Customer Service Manager will work together with the entire RPS team to drive maximum operational efficiency and customer satisfaction advocating for the Voice of the Customer. In this function you will: Use current business tools and data analytics to discover emerging trends, product improvement opportunities, and system enhancements to improve the customers experience with Eaton Foster and develop customer relationships to maintain existing book of business and profitability as well as grow the business Ability to Interpret electronic data to prescribe resolution strategies for customer requests Conduct quality evaluations on Customer Service business partners to identify training opportunities and provide coaching / feedback to call center personnel Train teams on proper phone skills and procedures Strong technical skills/knowledge of Power Connections products Expertise/knowledge regarding automotive and truck industry methodologies and tools for supporting customer satisfaction Document and communicate internally all applicable customer contacts, acting as the “Voice of the Customer” Support teammates and other departments as needed Represent Eaton in a courteous, ethical, and professional manner at all times Ability to work flexible hours, potentially including weekends Responsible for staying current on pertinent product and customer issues Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a Sales or Customer Service or Business Development or Account Management role Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing industry or environment Minimum of 3 years of experience as a manager or leader of people Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future Preferred Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of customer service manager experience Minimum of 2 years of work experience in the automotive industry Experience with or knowledge of electric Connectors or Terminals or comparable products Eaton considers qualified applicants regardless of criminal histories, consistent with local laws.
