Job Description: This is your new work area in pre-development As technology management within the Siemens Motion Control (MC) business unit, we evaluate new technologies regarding their benefit our future business. This involves optimization potential within existing products as well as completely new applications. Especially in the field of new applications, we evaluate the usability of new technologies in cooperation with customers and research partners. As a result, we are one of the key drivers of innovation in Motion Control and as such provide value add for our customers based on state-of-the-art technologies. More than 30 colleagues are already working in Germany to make Motion Control future-proof. To address the high importance of the Asian market we are now creating a new group in China. This is your new role You are part of an pre-development team that develops innovative digitalization solutions for industrial application of our SINAMICS drive. •You proactively contribute to the application of new technologies and their introduction into the Digital Industries MC product portfolio •You are responsible for driving technology innovation through the definition, design and develop-ment of software/hardware prototype implementations in alignment with product management preparing transfer to product development •Based on your expertise in data analytics and artificial intelligence you analyze real world data acquired on drive systems including pumps, fans, compressors, and cranes •You train machine learning models to generate customer benefits like energy saving, optimization of availability and productivity of the system including drive train and customer application •Based on your personal qualification and commitment potential development opportunities include an expert career or positions in other functions in the organization Required skill set: •You have at least 2 years experience on AI algorithm development •You are familiar with Machine Learning, knowledge on other AI area is highly appreciated •You are familiar with the algorithms like: Linear Regression/ Logistic regression/ Decision Trees/ Naive Bayes/ K-means/ Random Forest/ Dimensionality reduction/ Artificial Neural Networks. •You are experienced in programming languages like Python or C/C++ •Experience on AI framework like TensorFlow or PyTorch….
