Job Description
Siemens Healthineers are looking for a Technical Specialist to join the Sudbury team at an exciting time. As a dedicated Technical Specialist, you would have the opportunity to work with a wide range of equipment and in an environment where no two days will ever be the same! We perform over 70 different testing methods on site, so we are looking for someone with an openness to learn and develop their skills even further. This is a permanent full-time position with working hours of 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday, with paid overtime. This role will play a key part in the maintenance of the laboratory equipment within Sudbury. You will carry out equipment maintenance and laboratory tests, troubleshoot equipment issues, and work with external engineers to fix equipment. Other responsibilities will include: Calibration of equipment Conducting audit train reviews of electronic equipment Training internal techncians to troubleshoot To apply for this Technical Specialist role, you will need relevant laboratory experience. You should also be IT literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages. Additional requirements include: Equipment maintenance experience in HPLC, UV/Vis, AA Troubleshooting skills for laboratory equipment PFMEA or risk assessment of equipment knowledge Good GMP knowledge Knowledge of quality systems A flexible approach and ability to adapt according to workload If you possess an inclusive and committed approach and are looking to make a positive impact and create change, you will be rewarded with an excellent salary and benefits package.
