Collections Specialist

 

SUMMARY:

Due to the continuous growth of the business, we are embarking on an exciting Business Change programme to create a new Finance Shared Service. This is truly exciting time for us, as the shared centre will add value to existing services whilst improving system scalability and global collaboration.

To achieve this goal, we are establishing brand new teams and departments. Be sure that comprehensive knowledge transfer will be an important part of the initial phase.

And setting up a new team is not the only objective ahead of us. In 2024, we are planning to implement a new company-wide ERP system, Dynamics365, so your creativity, proactivity, knowledge, and skills will be fully utilized once again. 

 

WHAT’S AHEAD OF YOU:

  • After transition phase, you’ll be responsible for completing of collections activities and maintaining collections record for the company, including collection of outstanding payments and managing disputes
  • Communication with customers on issues related to collections, including investigation and root cause analysis to solve disputes correctly
  • Help with queries from regulatory authorities, external auditors and other third parties
  • This is a senior role, so you will have a significant role in implementing and enforcing collections processes within the team and you’ll act as the right hand to the Lead
  • Support of the rest of the team in day-to-day activities, especially with issues requiring deeper expertise
  • Support of continuous improvement of the AP processes and systems
  • You’ll take active part in the ERP system change planned for next year

 

WHAT REQUIREMENTS DO WE HAVE:

  • 3 years' experience in O2C collections operations
  • English language skills at intermediate level
  • Advanced MS Excel skills with a proven aptitude to interpret customer and financial data
  • Strong knowledge of finance business processes, collections policies, treatment strategies, and statutory accounting principles to ensure compliant SSC operations
  • Working knowledge of core finance and specifically collections systems, ERP and related specialty functional systems, frameworks, and functionality
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving environment with proactive approach
