Job Description

About The Role: 
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Analyst to join our Product team at our Intellectual Property Services company. The successful candidate will play a vital role in driving the development and growth of our products and services, by providing valuable insights and recommendations based on market trends and customer feedback, specifically within the Patent Filing, Translation, Renewals, and Research departments. 

Main Duties Include: 
• Gather and analyse customer and market data to identify areas of opportunity and improvement for our products and services within the Patent Filing, Translation, Renewals, and Research departments. This includes conducting customer interviews and surveys, analysing customer feedback, and monitoring industry trends and competitor activity 

• Work closely with the product development team to define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer needs and market trends within the Patent Filing, Translation, Renewals, and Research departments. This includes leading requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders, creating user stories, and developing product roadmaps 

• Lead the development of product requirements and user stories, and ensure they align with the overall product vision and strategy within the Patent Filing, Translation, Renewals, and Research departments. This includes working with the product development team to ensure that product requirements are clearly defined, testable, and meet customer needs 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product development and launch are on schedule and meet customer and market needs within the Patent Filing, Translation, Renewals, and Research departments. This includes working with the engineering, design, and QA teams to ensure that products are delivered on time and to a high standard 

• Continuously monitor and evaluate product performance and provide feedback to the product development team within the Patent Filing, Translation, Renewals, and Research departments. This includes tracking key product metrics, analysing customer feedback, and conducting user research to ensure that products are meeting customer needs 

• Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices to ensure our products remain competitive in the market within the Patent Filing, Translation, Renewals, and Research departments. This includes staying up to date with the latest product development methodologies and tools and participating in relevant industry events and conferences 

Experience Required:

• Experience in a Business Analyst role

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and its capabilities like Power Platform, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps, etc as well as Salesforce 

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels 


• Familiarity with intellectual property services specifically within Patent Filing, Translation, Renewals, and Research is a plus 

• Experience in Agile development methodologies, and experience leading product development teams in an Agile environment 

• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time and within budget 

• Strong business acumen and understanding of the product development process 

• Strong understanding of user-cantered design principles and experience conducting user research
