Job Description
Scope of Work:
General Support Jobs
a. Help desk support – trouble shooting and resolution to application problem.
b. Frontline diagnostic of problem
c. Recommendation on improving performance on the PC & network.
d. Reinstallation of software system when necessary or for new installation of PC hardware / software / services.
e. Maintaining an updated problem and log change for each network at each user site
f. Periodic virus-checking service.
g. Create or modify printer server or print queue.
h. Set-up new user accounts, policy and security.
i. Trustee Directory / File assignments.
j. Error log checking and reporting.

OS/Software Support Jobs (NT & general OA software)
a. Basic MS-NT/Windows administration.
b. Software re-installation or re-configuration.
c. Handle general software problems.
d. Data or programs backup (if applicable)

Operation Jobs
a. Job posting
b. File batching
c. Submit batch
d. Run script
e. Report generation
f. Report distribution
g. backup & restore
h. System monitoring
i. Contact hardware vendors for scheduled / ad-hoc hardware maintenance and support.
