Job Description

Role Overview: 
Due to the continuous growth of RWS, we are looking to recruit an experienced Marketing Director who will develop and implement the marketing strategy for Language Services offerings for non-regulated industries globally.
The successful candidate will apply significant marketing and business expertise to drive overall results.

Key Responsibilities
* Be responsible for developing and implementing marketing plans, strategies, and tactics for Language Services offerings for non-regulated industries.
* Leads and influences the adoption of new marketing approaches, methods and/or tools to achieve greater results and/or optimization of marketing spend. Continually monitors and adjusts marketing strategies and tactics to ensure the greatest return on investment.
* Manage the development and curation of a wide array of content and marketing collateral, leveraging internal and third-party agencies. Works with marketing managers to create and deliver a variety of marketing campaigns designed to achieve pipeline and revenue targets via digital channels e.g. email, webpages, social media, webinars, and in-person trade shows.
* Develops and leads the implementation of a variety of sales enablement initiatives and monitors effectiveness.
* Frequently engages with executive leadership to formulate strategies and garner support. Leads efforts to conduct comprehensive and complex analysis across a variety of areas that result in a deep understanding of the market, industry and/or customer.
* Recognized as a functional expert and thought leader; leads initiatives and provides expertise in building the overall effectiveness and capability of the marketing function (e.g., cross-functional knowledge sharing, best practices, learning and development program creation, defining performance standards). On behalf of marketing leadership, leads cross functional teams in the area of marketing excellence. Leads knowledge sharing and skill building across the function in new markets, product areas, and/or industries.
* Build trust and confidence across business units by collaborating with others, consistently working to deliver outstanding results, and continuously developing expertise within the function. Instils confidence with internal and external stakeholders by providing thought leadership, strategies and plans in strategic and/or complex areas. Establishes credibility externally (e.g., within the industry, professional organizations, customers) as an expert in marketing excellence.
* Assist in the generation and promotion of new theories, concepts, principles, and methodologies within a specialty area. Given direction in the form of broadly defined outcomes, defines the objectives of the assignment.

Skills & Experience
* Demonstrable marketing experience (atr Directorship level), gained in an international organization, ideally in the service industries.
* Examines data to grasp issues and draw conclusions. Business Acumen Demonstrates understanding of business concepts, strategy, structures and processes.
* An adaptable, curious individual who experiments and can navigate the stress and discomfort of change.
* Clearly conveys information and ideas through a variety of media and in a manner that engages others, helping them understand and retain the message.
