Sourcing Manager

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Cross-Cultural Collaboration:

Act as a bridge between Expondo's European base and Chinese suppliers, leveraging international business practices.
Facilitate improved understanding and collaboration between teams.
2. Supplier Identification and Relationship Management:

Spearhead the search for new suppliers in line with our strategic growth.
Build and nurture relationships with existing suppliers, securing favorable terms and ensuring timely product deliveries.
3. Factory Audits:

Represent Expondo during factory audits, ensuring quality and adherence to standards.
Negotiate with potential suppliers on terms, prices, and conditions, bringing in an international perspective.
4. Data-Driven Decision Making:

Employ data analytics tools to derive actionable insights for the sourcing process.
Pinpoint inefficiencies and conceptualize solutions based on international best practices.
5. Project Management:

Oversee multiple sourcing projects, ensuring timelines and quality benchmarks are met.
Liaise with internal teams to gauge product specifications and requirements.
6. Reporting:

Present regular updates on sourcing ventures, supplier evaluations, and other relevant metrics to top management.
Skills & Experience:

1. Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.

2. Experience:
At least 5 years in sourcing or procurement or a business management position, ideally in an e-commerce environment.
Proven experience in negotiations and supplier management from an international business perspective.
3. Data Proficiency: Adept at employing data analytics tools, with a strong analytical approach to problem-solving.
4. Communication Skills: Fluency in English is a must. Mandarin proficiency is highly preferred.
5. Cultural Acumen: Familiarity with both European and Chinese business cultures will be an advantage.
6. Technical Know-how: An understanding of technical products, especially machinery, would be beneficial
