IB Primary Year Programme Homeroom Teacher
20 teaching periods per week;
Class size: 25-30 students;
Working hours:Monday (7:40-17:40);
Tuesday-Thursday (7:40-16:45)：
Friday (7:40-16:00)

-Job Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Native English speaker;
Bachelor degree - authenticated;
Police Report-a criminal background check is required - authenticated;
Minimum of 2 years of primary teaching experience;
Great presentation and communication skills;
Mature, responsible and patient with a good sense of humour and a good rapport with children;
Committed to work and is respectful the schoo’s culture
Enthusiasm for professional development and a desire to continually improve teaching practices


-Job Responsibilities:
1) Implementing a high-quality of English reading and writing course:
Responsibly plan and teach lessons and support students as a homeroom teacher;
Provide comprehensive and regular feedback;
Write and maintain students’ learning records, including homework, performing videos, etc.
Offer an open class once a semester;
Edit a collection of students' writing every school year;
Instruct the school English Newspaper Agency (club);
Organise English reading clubs (plan classroom activities to improve students' reading interest, skills and competence)
2) Participating in all kinds of school activities:
Plan, prepare or organise student activities related to western culture, such as the annual English Festival, Culture weeks etc;
Assist in campus culture building, creating an English environment. For example, help proofread the school’s WeChat public account or publications; provide training to the English teachers on language or culture once a month;
Get involved in school social and cultural activities, such as parties, sports competitions, parents meeting, open house and field trips;
Participate in marketing events as needed, such as student recruitment. Advance notice will be given; and
Offer one extra-curriculum each semester.
