Job Description

Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate music lessons in line with the school’s curriculum.
Teach fundamental music concepts, including rhythm, melody, instruments, singing, and movement.
Organize and lead school-wide music performances, including annual concerts or large-scale productions.
Experience in planning and directing large-scale school concerts or musical productions is highly preferred.
Develop rehearsal schedules and coordinate with staff and students for performance preparation.
Create and prepare teaching materials and resources to support effective music instruction.
Collaborate with homeroom and specialist teachers to integrate music into cross-curricular learning.
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters creativity and participation.
Participate in staff meetings, planning sessions, and relevant school events.
Support and model school values, rules, and behavior expectations.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above;
TESOL/TEFL/CELTA certification;
Clear criminal background check;
Two years of previous teaching experience preferred;
IB PYP teaching experience required;

Salary and Benefits

Salary open to negotiate based on experience and qualifications;
Housing allowance 3,800 RMB per month;
