Job Description
1. Midweek Schools Programme
- Plan and deliver high-quality football coaching sessions in partner schools.
- Develop age-appropriate training programmes focusing on skill development, teamwork, and fitness.
- Monitor and assess player progress, providing feedback to students and schools.
- Promote the SK SHARKS brand and encourage participation in weekend programmes.
2. Weekend Football Classes
- Lead and assist in coaching weekend training sessions for various age groups.
- Ensure sessions are fun, structured, and aligned with the club’s philosophy.
- Supervise and mentor assistant coaches or volunteers.
- Manage player registrations, attendance, and safety protocols.
3. Team Management & Tournaments**
- Coach and manage assigned SK SHARKS teams in matches and competitions.
- Organise and oversee internal club tournaments, including scheduling, referees, and logistics.
- Communicate with parents/guardians regarding fixtures, progress, and club updates.
4. Administrative & Operational Duties
- Assist in planning seasonal football curriculums and session plans.
- Maintain equipment and ensure training facilities are safe and well-prepared.
- Help with marketing and recruitment efforts to grow participation.
- Attend staff meetings, CPD (Continuing Professional Development) courses, and club events.
5. Player & Club Development
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and professional environment for players.
- Uphold club values, ensuring good sportsmanship and discipline.
- Work with the management team to improve coaching standards and club growth.
Requirements:
- FA Level 2 (or equivalent) coaching qualification (desirable).
- Experience coaching youth football across different age groups.
- Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
- First Aid & Safeguarding certifications (or willingness to obtain).
- Passion for developing young players and growing grassroots football
