Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Administrative Assistant with professional proficiency in Arabic and Chinese to provide comprehensive administrative and translation support. The ideal candidate will facilitate smooth communication between Arabic and Chinese-speaking stakeholders, ensuring accurate and culturally appropriate translations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
The Candidte must be currently located in China, preferably in Beijing.

Key Responsibilities
1. Translation & Interpretation
Provide accurate and professional written translation (Arabic ↔ Chinese) for emails, reports, contracts, presentations, and other business documents.

Conduct verbal interpretation in meetings, conferences, and phone/video calls.

Ensure translations maintain original meaning, tone, and context while adapting to cultural nuances.

Proofread and edit translated materials for clarity, grammar, and consistency.

2. Administrative Support
Manage correspondence, including drafting, reviewing and editing documents and materials in Arabic and Chinese.

Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.

Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and data entry tasks.

Handle phone calls and inquiries in Arabic and Chinese, directing them appropriately.

3. Additional Duties
Support office operations, including inventory management and supply ordering.

Assist in event planning and logistics for international meetings.

Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum 1-3 years of experience in professional translation (Arabic-Chinese) and administrative roles.

Experience in a corporate or international business environment is preferred.

Language & Technical Skills
Fluent in Arabic and Chinese (Mandarin) – both written and spoken (native or near-native proficiency).

Strong command of English (for internal communication and document handling).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) and translation tools.

Soft Skills
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in translation.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Professional communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Adaptability in a multicultural work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of business terminology in finance, legal, or technical fields.

Experience working in diplomatic, trade, or multinational organizations.
