Job Description

Responsibly plan and teach English and Language Arts lessons;
Develop and maintain a comprehensive curriculum;
Support student learning by collaborating with other teachers and departments of the school, especially supporting ELA learning in drama classes and programs;
Support the school’s commitment to the 4C skills of communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity in teaching and working with colleagues;
Participate actively in curricular work, curricular writing, and professional development within the curriculum group and the faculty at large;
Maintain positive relationships with parents and participate in parent-teacher conferences;
Offer at least one elective or club for students each semester;
Occasionally cover classes for colleagues;
Assis with other student activities when possible;
Care of all students in class and actively report concerns and accolades regarding student’s progress in class;
Be flexible, and assist with any other duties, tasks or jobs as may be reasonably requested by the management.

Requirements

Native English speaker;
Bachelor's degree or above (Master’s degree or above preferred);
TESOL/TEFL/CELTA certification;
Clear criminal background check;
Two years of previous teaching experience in related field;
Those able to teach two or more subjects are preferred;
PGCE/QTS/US Teaching license or other equivalent teaching certificates preferred;

Salary and Benefits

Salary from 25,000 RMB to 30,000RMB before tax per month negotiable based on experience and qualifications;
