Job Description

1.Lead and manage the high school department, ensuring alignment with a level standards and curriculum.
2.Oversee and teach transdisciplinary units of inquiry, fostering an inquiry-based learning environment.
3.Serve as the high teacher, overseeing students’ academic progress and well-being while integrating English across subject areas to support holistic development.
4.Promote language development across all subjects through integrated teaching methods.
5.Organize and teach extracurricular activities or interest-based classes to enhance student engagement.
6.Lead and support teachers in delivering high-quality lessons and promoting English acquisition.
7.Monitor student progress, assess learning outcomes, and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
8.Engage with students regularly during duty time to support language development and student well-being.
9.Participate in school-wide activities, such as weekly assemblies, to strengthen community and school culture.
10.Contribute to school leadership meetings, ensuring continuous development and improvement of the school.

Requirements

1.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or related field.
2.TESOL/TEFL/CELTA certification, PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification.
3.Clear criminal background check.
4.Previous experience in teaching and leadership within an A level high Years Programme school.
5.Strong understanding of the a level philosophy and inquiry-based learning.

Salary and Benefits

1. Base salary 20000-28000 RMB (before tax) per month based on experience and qualifications;
