Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate High School English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher to join our international school in Beijing. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching literature, writing, and language skills within an international curriculum, fostering a love of reading and critical thinking among students.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach English Language Arts to high school students, covering reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills.

Prepare students for IGCSE, A-Level, AP, or IBDP English courses and external examinations.

Design and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons that meet international standards.

Provide timely feedback, assess student work, and monitor academic progress.

Support students in developing strong critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills.

Contribute to school life through clubs, activities, and other extracurricular programs.

Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum planning and school initiatives.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or above in English, Literature, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Valid teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).

Minimum 2 years of high school English/ELA teaching experience, preferably in an international curriculum setting.

Native-level English proficiency.

Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to start as soon as possible.
