We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced High School A-Level/AP Art & Design Teacher to join our team for the 2026-2027 academic year.

The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering creativity, critical thinking, and artistic expression in students, preparing them for success in A-Level and Advanced Placement (AP) Art & Design programs, as well as for higher education and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging, rigorous, and culturally responsive lessons for A-Level and AP Art & Design courses.

Develop students’ technical skills, conceptual understanding, and creative expression across a variety of media and artistic disciplines.

Guide students through the process of creating portfolios that meet A-Level and AP standards and requirements.

Foster a classroom environment that encourages experimentation, critical analysis, and artistic collaboration.

Assess and provide timely, constructive feedback on student work to support growth and achievement.

Stay updated with A-Level and AP curriculum changes, assessment criteria, and best practices in art education.

Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and school-wide events, such as art exhibitions and open houses.

Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student development and school initiatives.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Art, Design, Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Teaching certification/license in Art Education or a relevant subject area.

Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in A-Level and/or AP Art & Design, preferably in a bilingual or international school setting.

Deep understanding of A-Level and AP Art & Design curriculum, assessment, and portfolio requirements.

Proficiency in a wide range of artistic media and techniques, including digital art tools.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire high school students.

Cultural sensitivity and adaptability in a diverse educational environment.

Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
