Job Title: A-Level & IGCSE English Language Teacher
Location: Shanghai, China (Gubei Area, on Metro Line 10)
Start Date: Autumn 2026 (August)

The Role:
Seeking a qualified and experienced A-Level & IGCSE English Language Teacher to join the dedicated faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, fostering a passion for the English language, and preparing students for success in their Cambridge International examinations and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and rigorous lessons for A-Level and IGCSE English Language courses.
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Contribute to curriculum development and the wider academic life of the English department.
Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and professional development activities.
Essential Requirements:
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a closely related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Certification: Must hold a valid teaching qualification/license (e.g., PGCE, QTS, U.S. state teaching license, or equivalent recognized certification).
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of successful, full-time teaching experience with Cambridge International A-Level and IGCSE English Language curricula required. Experience in an international school setting is highly desirable.
Language: Native or near-native English proficiency.
