A-Level Sociology Teacher
K-9 Private International School
Start Date: August 2026 (Fall 2026)
Role Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic A-Level Sociology teacher to join our secondary division . The successful candidate will introduce sociological concepts, research methods, and critical theories, preparing students for Cambridge International examinations in a supportive, inquiry-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging A-Level and IGCSE Sociology lessons
Develop students' analytical and evaluative skills through contemporary social issues
Assess, track, and report student progress in line with Cambridge standards
Contribute to cross-curricular projects and pastoral care as a form tutor
Participate in parent meetings, professional development, and school events
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Education, or a related field (Master's preferred)
Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, state teaching license)preferred
Minimum 3 years of experience teaching A-Level Sociology
