Salary Range: 600,000 – 800,000 RMB per year+on campus apartment

Job Purpose:
To provide leadership, inspiration, and guidance to the academic Senior Leadership Team in ensuring curriculum quality and student performance. The Academic Principal is a key decision-maker in shaping the school’s academic future and serves as a vital member of both the school and organizational leadership teams. Reporting directly to the School Principal, this role holds overall responsibility for leading, organizing, and managing the school’s academic vision, teaching and learning excellence, student achievement, and enrollment growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning & Vision
Lead the development and implementation of the academic strategy in collaboration with Heads of Schools and quality assurance teams.
Oversee academic monitoring, evaluation cycles, and ensure consistently high standards across the school.
Identify improvement priorities and drive continuous school enhancement.
Attract, develop, retain, and effectively manage teaching staff.
Promote a culture of excellence, equality, and high expectations.
Collaborate effectively with school and regional SLT members.
2. Admissions & Marketing
Support the School Principal and Marketing & Admissions Coordinator in whole-school marketing initiatives.
Contribute to school growth by engaging the academic team in promotional activities and parent outreach.
Ensure all staff understand and embody the school’s educational and commercial vision.
Act as an ambassador to key influencers and prospective parents.
Maintain regular communication with parents to build advocacy and trust.
3. Teaching & Learning Leadership
Foster an achievement-oriented school culture.
Leverage school’s educational collaborations, programs, and Global Campus to enhance student opportunities.
Promote accountability and passion for education among staff.
Regularly review and optimize the curriculum to meet student needs.
Support students’ personal and social development through curricular and extracurricular activities.
Monitor and improve teaching standards to ensure instructional excellence.
Use student performance data to personalize learning and enhance teaching effectiveness.
4. Operational & Resource Management
Ensure efficient and effective use of teaching resources.
Develop, implement, and review the school’s strategic development plans.
Support the Chairman of the Education Advisory Board in budget management per school policies.
Contribute to best practice sharing across the NAE network.
5. Talent Recruitment & Development
Implement performance management and professional development.
Promote staff well-being to maximize professional contribution and satisfaction.
Commit to the ongoing professional growth of all employees.
