Job Opportunity: A Level English Teacher at a Foreign Language School in Suzhou
Location: Suzhou Singapore Industrial Park, China
Start Date: August 2025
Contract Duration: 12 months (with a fully paid salary during winter and summer breaks)
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced A Level English teacher to join our dynamic team for the upcoming academic year. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching A Level English courses to secondary school students. Classes are scheduled from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with no office hours required. The workload includes 20 classes per week, each lasting 40 minutes. Our school provides a well-established curriculum, and teachers are encouraged to be creative and supplement lessons with additional activities. Training and resources will be provided to support your teaching.
Qualifications:
• Hold a TEFL certificate or equivalent.
• Possess a university bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Be a native speaker of English or have near-native fluency.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in A Level or similar international curricula.
• Experience with IGCSE or A Level English teaching is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality A Level English lessons according to the school’s curriculum.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Assess and provide feedback on students' performance.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall teaching and learning experience.
• Participate in school-organized activities and professional development opportunities.
Compensation and Benefits:
• Monthly salary: 25,000 - 28,000 RMB (based on qualifications and experience).
• 12-month contract with a fully paid salary during winter and summer breaks.
• housing allowance or free apartment provided
• 3,000 RMB end-of-contract bonus.
• Round-trip airfare allowance of 10,000 RMB annually.
• Medical insurance coverage of 6,200 RMB annually.
