Job Description: A-level Mathematics Teacher
Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced A-level Mathematics Teacher to join our dynamic faculty at a leading bilingual high school in Hangzhou, China. Key Responsibilities

Design and deliver engaging A-level Mathematics lessons aligned with Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) or relevant UK examination board standards.
Develop comprehensive teaching plans, assessments, and learning resources to support student progress and exam preparation.
Foster a classroom environment that encourages active participation, problem-solving, and intellectual curiosity.
Provide regular academic feedback to students and parents, monitor student performance, and implement targeted interventions to ensure learning outcomes.
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teaching teams to integrate mathematics with real-world applications and interdisciplinary projects.
Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and professional development workshops to enhance teaching practices.
Support extracurricular activities such as mathematics competitions, clubs, or tutoring sessions to enrich student learning experiences.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
At least 2-3 years of full-time teaching experience in A-level Mathematics
Strong command of the English language with clear pronunciation; ability to teach and communicate fluently in English.
Passion for education and a proven track record of creating engaging, student-centered learning environments.
Familiarity with UK examination board standards (e.g., CIE, Edexcel) and assessment criteria.
Excellent classroom management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
