Duties and responsibilities:
1.Plan and deliver units of work based on subject aims and objectives and assess student progress against the standards.
2.Actively collaborate with teachers within and beyond your subject group to improve planning and assessment
3.Promote the Student Code of Conduct and use the Behaviour for Learning procedures when working with students.
4.Participate in developing and implementing the school’s strategic plans
5.Contribute towards creating a positive learning community, with colleagues and with students, built on mutual respect.
6.Understand that adolescents have social-emotional as well as academic learning needs and strive to address the needs of the whole child.
7.Lead, and/or support student leaders in leading, Activities Outside the Classroom
8.Perform required duties and supervision and ensure that all students feel safe and secure while at school
9.When requested, cover lessons for absent teachers
10.Prepare and deliver lessons that are suitably differentiated for levels of English, ability and learning styles
11.Participate in the school’s peer observation programme

Requirement:
1.Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject area, Master’s degree an advantage.
2.Minimum 2 years’ experience in teaching A level math. Ability to teach multiple science subjects is an advantage.
3.Successful experience in working with secondary school students.
4.Demonstrated experience in inspiring students in a stimulating learning environment.
5.Previous experience in an international school and familiarity with AP/IB/A-level is preferred.
6.Qualified for work visa.
7.Positive work attitude and passion on teaching
