Working with the team and reporting directly to the Director of Advancement, we are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and flexible Advancement Assistant to join us. The Advancement Assistant will be also working with other departments across GSIS, in the sharing and updating of relevant information and in the promotion of all aspects of the school internally and externally.
Excited at the thought of putting all your skills to work at one of Hong Kong’s most highly regarded international schools, you will:
- Assist with preparations for key Marketing, Communications and Development events
- Assist with the production of printed marketing materials; prospectuses, leaflets, newsletters
- Assist with the gathering, creation and editing of news stories for publication on the School website, social media and printed matter
- Monitor, maintain and update content on the School’s Parent Portal
- Assist with the implementation and development of the School’s Social Media Strategy
- Manage the coordination of content and setting of digital newsletters
- Liaise, as appropriate, with staff and departments to ensure consistency of quality and branding of external communications
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 1-year experience
- A creative mind with great attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
- Flexibility and ability to work at evening or weekend events
- Organised and calm under pressure
- Excellent time management to meet key deadlines
- Positive ‘can do’ approach
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English and/or Cantonese/Mandarin skills are required
