Are you an expert in the use of machine learning for non-financial risk oversight, particularly in financial crime prevention/transaction monitoring? Do you know the current vendor systems landscape in that space and have you led teams for the implementation, model documentation or validation of machine learning and rules-based approaches in leading banks? We are looking for someone like that to:
• lead our US AI/Machine Learning and rules-based model development team, reporting directly into the Global Head of Methodologies & Models AI development and platform
• focus initially on rule based transaction monitoring model portfolio and on structuring the short- and mid-term model remediation work on existing vendor platforms, with an eye on building longer term AI based challenger and replacement models and broadening our US model development pipeline beyond financial crime prevention
• interacting with local management and facing-off with relevant regulators on our remediation and build-out plans
