Job Description

The compiler team within SATG, at Intel, has an opportunity available for AI Frameworks Engineer. This is a great opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies in AI Frameworks and Compilers areas.

In this role responsibilities include, although not limited to:

  • Conducting design and development to build and optimize AI software
  • Designing, developing, testing, and optimizing for AI frameworks (e.g., OpenVINO, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
  • Developing machine learning and/or deep learning primitives in mathematical libraries
  • Profiling distributed deep learning models to identify performance bottlenecks and proposes solutions across individual component teams
  • Optimizing code for various computing hardware backends and interacting with machine learning and/or deep learning researchers and utilizing experience with machine learning and/or deep learning frameworks
  • Porting AI frameworks to different backends, programming models, and HW architectures
  • Testing AI frameworks with functional and unit tests
  • A successful candidate will be able to work in a team environment, analyze problems, explain complex processes in simple terms, and display technical leadership


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The candidate should possess at least a Bachelor´s degree or Master´s in Computer Science or a related field with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Excellent development and debugging skills, experience in C/C++ development, Python experience
  • Proven track record of analyzing and solving complex technical problems
  • Solid understanding of one of these mainstream deep learning frameworks, Tensorflow, Caffe, PyTorch


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in performance analysis and optimization on deep learning workloads or HPC workloads
  • Experience in CUDA, SYCL, or other heterogeneous programming models
  • Experience in porting applications to different backends and programming models

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$171,440.00-$257,260.00

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
