The compiler team within SATG, at Intel, has an opportunity available for AI Frameworks Engineers. This is a great opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies in AI Frameworks and Compilers areas.
In this role responsibilities include, although not limited to:
- Designing, developing, testing, and optimizing AI frameworks (such as Pytorch, TensorFlow, etc.)
- Optimizing AI Frameworks code for various computing hardware backends, interacting with machine learning researchers and compiler engineers, and utilizing experience with machine learning and/or deep learning frameworks
- Ports AI frameworks to different backends, programming models, and HW architectures
- Adding support for new devices to AI Frameworks
- Testing AI frameworks with functional and unit tests

- Communicate well and display presentation skills to technical and non-technical audiences
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
- The candidate should possess at least a Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with at least 1 year of experience; or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, with at least 3 years of experience
- 1+ year of C++ development experience
- 1+ year of Python development experience
- 1+ year of experience of Pytorch or Tensorflow framework development
- Proven track record of analyzing and solving complex technical problems
- Excellent development and debugging skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in performance analysis and optimization of deep learning workloads or HPC workloads
- Experience in CUDA, SYCL or , other heterogeneous programming models
- Experience in porting of applications to different backends and programming models
- Familiarity with popular CNN, RNN models like ResNet-50, GoogleNet, VGG16
