Our team develops leading edge technologies for Big Data and Machine Learning and one of them is a modular platform for distributed data analytics software that will be playing critical role in helping data science to scale beyond laptop to powerful servers and clusters.
The platform is responsible for data analytics parallel execution on single CPU node and further distribution on cluster and/or in a cloud with minimum efforts from Data scientists.
Candidate will participate in developing of different parts of the platform such as user public API, distributed execution engines (incl. execution on GPU), support for cloud execution, interacting with machine learning and/or deep learning researchers, and utilizing experience with machine learning and/or deep learning frameworks.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's with 3+ years of industry experience or Masters with 2 or more years or PhD in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• Expert level of Python knowledge, 3+ years of experience in Python and/or in Python-based data analytics libraries (eg pandas)
• Proficiency in algorithms and data structures
• Solid experience in different distributed execution frameworks (eg Ray) or parallel programming frameworks (OpenMP, TBB, MPI etc)
• Software development on Linux
• Fluency in Docker/Kubernetes

Additional qualifications will be a great advantage

• Experience with high performance computing, data analytics, databases
• Experience with Numpy
• Experience with cloud frameworks (AWS, Azure etc)
• C/C++ (C++11 and above)

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
