ABOUT THE ROLE:

To a fast-growing Data Services team, we are seeking a candidate who is a natural leader with solid experience in project management and working with data. We want you to drive strategic initiatives in your team to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

You will be expected to quickly adapt to change, be an excellent communicator, and become a champion in best practices of localization project management. The team you will be joining is strongly focused on artificial intelligence and machine translation in the localization process, so we expect you to be interested in new technologies. This is an excellent opportunity if you like to set the project management process from zero and build a new team.

Our headquarters is in Brno, Czech Republic, but we are open to having you working remotely and visiting occasionally.

 

WHAT WOULD YOU DO:

• Use all your project management knowledge and skills and creatively apply them to maintain its high standard and to improve its current setup
• Deliver projects to client expectations and achieve the optimal profitability of the project(s)
• Closely monitor and control project financials through budgets, invoicing, and change orders
• Plan projects and implement best practices and processes
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients and internal team members
• Act as a people manager towards the colleagues in your team
• Cooperate closely with your direct manager
• Develop and prepare process documents where required
• Conduct risk assessment and strategic planning of activities to minimize potential project issues
• Identify project/process improvement opportunities

 

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:

• Previous solid experience from project management (experience from localization industry is not required)
• A degree in computer science or a business-related field is an advantage
• Superb written and verbal communication skills
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Analytical and structured problem-solving abilities
• High level of English proficiency (C1 level)
• Responsible, reliable, and independent personality
