Intel IOTG ODT in Korea is looking for an AI Research Engineer/Scientist. This position requires computer science and an understanding of deep learning and/or machine learning knowledge. In this role, you will work to develop Intel's open-source programs OTE (OpenVINO Training Extension) and MPA (Model Preparation Algorithm) solution and framework, and you will work with a passionate, product-focused cross international team to research, rapidly prototype, and ship next-generation deep learning products as a part of Intel AI programs. Your responsibilities include: - Un/Weakly/Self/Semi-Supervised learning algorithm research and development - Continual/Active learning method research and development - Computer Vision algorithm research and development - Deep Learning training backend improvement - Benchmarking with an emphasis on algorithmic performance and power efficiency

Qualifications

Key Qualifications - Understanding of state-of-the-art deep learning theories, techniques, architectures, and optimization strategies - More than 4 years (Ph.D. case 1+ years) experience in deep learning research and development - Excellent problem solving and algorithm design skills - Excellent communication skills - Experience working with one or more deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Caffe, and MxNet - Strong programming skills with Python and C/C++ - Experiences in programming and testing in Linux environment Preferred Qualifications - PhD. in Deep learning related subject is preferred - Two or more scientific publications in deep learning, computer vision, and computer science - Experience optimizing deep networks for efficient training and/or inference - Familiar with OOP design patterns and unit testing - Familiar with MLaaS Education - MS or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or related area. Additional Notes In this role, you will work in the hybrid working model (onsite + working from home). You will be working from home, but you will be present on-site on demand.
