Intel IOTG ODT in Korea team is looking for an AI Research Engineer/Scientist. This position requires computer science and an understanding of deep learning and/or machine learning knowledge.
In this role, you will work to develop Intel's open-source program NNCF (Neural Network Compression Framework) algorithms and framework, and you will work with a passionate, product-focused cross international team to research rapidly prototype, and ship next-generation deep learning products as a part of Intel AI programs.
Your responsibilities include:
Neural network quantization/pruning/sparsity algorithm and solution development
Light-weight AutoML component development
Scalable AI framework design and development
Contribute to SaaS (MLaaS) system development as NNCF engineer
Benchmarking with an emphasis on algorithmic performance and power efficiency
Qualifications
Key Qualifications
Understanding of state-of-the-art neural network compression algorithms, techniques, and optimization strategies
More than 4 years (Ph.D. case 1+ years) experience in neural network optimization research and development
Excellent problem solving and algorithm design skills
Excellent communication skills
Experience working with one or more deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Caffe, and MxNet
Strong programming skills with Python and C/C++
Experiences in programming and testing on Linux environment
Preferred Qualifications
PhD. in Deep learning related subject is preferred
Two or more scientific publications in Deep learning, Computer vision, and Computer science
Familiar with SaaS (MLaaS) system
Education
MS or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or related area.
Additional Note
In this role, you will work in a hybrid working model (onsite + working from home). You will be working from home, but you will be present on-site on demand.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
