The incumbents will join our research and development team to take a leading role in research and study of AI related topics and design / development of AI-enabled software in areas of planning, optimization, computer vision / object recognition and robotic control.

Responsibilities:

• Research for methods, solutions and algorithms for R&D projects
• Design techniques and systems using methods in planning, optimization, artificial intelligence, multi-agent system, simulation and/or other applicable discipline
• Participate in solution development and testing
• Lead patent application and management processes
• Explore and develop new R&D project initiatives
• System documentation
• Provide on-site support for pilot projects
• Support commercialization activities

 
Requirements:

• Master or Ph.D in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or relevant discipline
• Proven research and development capability with at least 4 years of hands-on experience in related fields
• Experience in software development in Java, C or other programming languages is preferred  
• Experience in applying artificial intelligence and optimization methods is preferred
• Experience in Machine Learning is preferred
• Sound knowledge in computer vision and object recognition is an advantage
• Good communication skills
• Proficient in English and Cantonese
