Intel is seeking an experienced, open-source Dataframe/Pandas engineer role for the AI and Analytics (AIA) team. This engineer will be tasked to develop the next generation Pandas, Modin dataframe systems, enable new software and hardware capabilities that deliver all-new levels of performance and productivity to developers and customers.

The ideal candidate will have the experiences:

• Pandas' internal knowledge.

• Modin's internal knowledge.

• Familiarity with Data API standards.

• Numpy's internal knowledge.

• Experience in working with open-source software community.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

• MS in Computer Science or related fields.

• 5+ years experience.

• Pandas/Numpy/Numba knowledge.

• Python programming.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pandas committer.

• C/C++/Cython knowledge to accelerate Python libraries.

• Familiarity with cloud computing, Kubernetes.

• Experience building ETL pipelines.

• Familiarity with workflow systems.
