The candidate is responsible to verify and guarantee the quality of machine learning product for generic purposes or common use in a certain domain-specific field. This job is responsible to ensure the functionality and performance of machine learning software stacks on Intel platforms, triage the functionality and performance issues, as well as the out-of-box customer experience. In this position, you will have the chance to collaborate with diversified teams on full-stack machine learning optimization and explore the most advanced Intel hardware platforms.

The job scope may include:

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Qualification, setup and release of various Intel Optimized Deep Learning software on CPU and GPU for data center products.
• Automation of existing and new validation activities and inspection systems.
• Monitoring functionality and performance and quickly triage problems.
• Development of test cases and tools to continuously improve the test coverage for Deep learning Software products.
• Updating and maintaining documentation and BKC for of performance measurement per engineering changes.
• Working with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions to internal and external customers.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor + 8 years of experience OR Masters + 5 years of experience OR Ph.D. + 2 years of experience in Computer Science or Data Science or Human Factors Engineering, software engineering or mathematics or computational science or cognitive science, or a related technical discipline ("Cedula Profesional" may be required)

Experience should be in a related field:

• Machine learning, data mining, and information retrieval or natural language processing
• Software tools and libraries
• Algorithms and data structures
• Python, C and C++
• Software development on Linux
• Diagnose technical problems, debug code, and automate routine tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience in use of Deep learning frameworks or toolkits like, TensorFlow, PyTorch, ONNX, OpenVino;
• Proficient in Programming Languages and platforms like Python, bash; C/C++ programming skill is a plus.
• Experience in CICD and automation, experience in Jenkins, Groovy etc.
• Experience in agile methodologies and understanding of software development lifecycle

The Deep Learning Frameworks and Libraries (DLFL) department is responsible for optimizing leading DL frameworks on Intel platforms. We also develop the popular oneAPI Deep Neural Network Library (oneDNN), and new oneDNN Graph library. Our goal is to lead in Deep Learning performance for both the CPU and GPU. We work closely with other Intel business units and industrial partners.
