About the role

Are you ready for an exhilarating role as an AI Technical Lead? Join our dynamic company and become a driving force in the development and promotion of AI/ML technologies! As the AI Technical Team Lead, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of our company by implementing cutting-edge tools that support AI data services and revolutionize our industry.

In this role, you'll lead a team of talented developers and collaborate closely with knowledge leaders and data scientists to build tech stack and support workflows that help big tech companies roll out cutting-edge AI models. Your responsibilities may dip into product management or architecture for small-scale projects, but you'll remain hands-on with coding and mentoring the team members, ensuring that your technical expertise is put to use in the most impactful way possible.

 

Responsibilities

  • Establish yourself as the go-to expert in AI technologies and tools, providing valuable insights to support data services.
  • Responsible for workgroup production management processes/tools/workflows/methodologies and manages continuous process improvement. Ensures quality control for all outputs (internal/external) of the workgroup.
  • Keep your team on track, delivering high-quality results within deadlines while maintaining exceptional client service.
  • Establish, nurture, and enforce technical practices among team members
  • Take on the role of mentor, guiding and inspiring team members in their daily work and career growth.
  • Drive and support innovation for solving problems in development work or onboard new technologies with a positive impact on the business/program the team supports
  • Stay ahead of the curve by staying up-to-date with industry news and trends through active participation in training and self-improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with the team, providing coding support and leveraging your expertise to drive software development.

 

Must have

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment
  • 2+ years of experience managing a team of developers
  • 3+ years of experience with Javascript, Node.js, JavaScript frameworks
  • 3+ years of experience with Python, Pandas and working with data
  • Experience with managing and deploying in cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure)

 

Nice to have

  • Advanced knowledge of continuous integration and development (CI/CD)
  • Advanced knowledge of systems architecture, networking, distributed systems
  • Deep knowledge of database systems (both relational and non-relational)
  • Experience with machine learning models (deployment and/or training), Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch
