Duties:
Provide Linux and UNIX (ie.  Server, VM admin, etc.) Tier-2 technical support
Responsible for system administration, system configuration, monitoring and backup
Apply system patches and perform regular maintenance and upgrades
System Analysis and Design
Application Support and OS/platform level troubleshooting
L3 End User Support Troubleshooting Capacity.
Shift roster. Will work in team for shared on call rotating schedules (day/evening/weekend/ public holiday with compensation leave offer).

 
Qualifications:
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
A minimum of 2 years experience in Server administration.
A minimum of 2 years hardware troubleshooting.
Knowledge of AIX, Linux, IBM Tivoli, IBM TSM, is preferred
Knowledge of Storage, SAN Switch, Load balancing, and enterprise backup solution is preferred.
A good team player with analytical & problem-solving skills, self-motivation and good interpersonal skills
Emergency calls / onsite support may be required.
Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
Candidates with less experience will also be considered
