What is the mission of AMD Client Technologist? In this role you will : • Help drive incremental AMD-based Business to Large and Public Sector accounts • Provide technical assistance to sales in the design and integration of customer applications using AMD based solutions • Partner with sales in determining possible applications of AMD based products and solutions to meet customer requirements • Provide training to Sales teams to increase their product knowledge, understanding of market, customer behavior and how to differentiate Lenovo in the market • Partner with other AMD and vendor subject matter experts to build specific customer solutions • Analyze vendor product solutions and evaluate product performance based on customer needs • Install and test solutions in-house, as required, to ensure successful deployments and evaluations • Lead technical design sessions; architect and document technical solutions that are aligned with end-user objectives • Provide hands-on, expert-level technical assistance to end-users • Articulate AMD based technology offerings across multiple market verticals • Conduct technical presentations for customers, partners and prospects • Design and manage the execution of evaluation plans to ensure a quality solution is delivered • Be a credible subject matter expert to end users on direct and indirect product capabilities • Capture a solid understanding of the competitive landscape and clearly articulate the technical differentiation and value proposition associated with AMD versus its competitors • Build strong relationships with the Country/Region Sales team & Management • Seed Unit management in conjunction with sales • 50% Customer/Business Partner Facing time expected #### Position Requirements: • Combination of technical and project management skills – experience in technical consulting and good communication skills with a customer centric attitude. • Experience in IT industry required (3-5 years). • Knowledge of business customers, partner channel & PC industry preferred. • Degree in Information Technology, System Engineering or similar subjects or equivalent work experience. • PC architecture knowledge and In depth knowledge of current and former operating systems (Microsoft, Linux). • Strong communication and presentation skills - You know how to connect with customers and have the ability to work at different levels and to manage multiple customer situations. • Excellent English skills, outside of Country language. • Flexible, proactive & high customer orientation • Enhanced cross-functional team working capabilities and collaborative working style and high commitment to get the job done. • Be proactive, quick and bold & innovative in all you do.
